Strawberry Banana Smoothie

If you're anything like me, you get tired of eating the same turkey sandwich every day for lunch. I had recently been struggling with what to eat for lunch until I found this really simple, and really delicious smoothie recipe. They are so good, that even Ethan enjoys them! I love that I know exactly what ingredients go into this smoothie, and that they are all healthy. The smoothie usually keeps me full until around 4pm or so, when I will have a snack. If you want to get creative, you can add a few tablespoons of your favorite protein powder which would keep you fuller even longer.

Here is what you will need:

1 cup of milk (low fat)
1 cup of low fat strawberry yogurt (I use the Stonyfield low fat strawberry yogurt bc it is organic with a little extra protein)
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 diced banana

Some days I will add a couple tablespoons of low fat vanilla frozen yogurt. The recipe did not call for this, but it adds a nice smooth flavor.

Blend it all up until creamy and smooth. One batch is enough for 2 lunches, and even some left over for Ethan to enjoy.

Enjoy!!!
